Talent Showcase

Talent Showcase
General Information

The PTO is excited to introduce the first annual Leadership Learning Academy Talent Showcase! Our goal is to allow the students to present their talents, whatever they may be, and share them with family, friends, and peers. On May 1st we will have a series of galleries throughout the school and two performances at Alpine Church. Families are invited to attend one of the two performances and wander the school to see the galleries of photography, visual arts, writing, poetry, etc. We know how talented our students are and are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase their excellence.
Is your student interested in participating in the showcase?

GALLERY
We want students to display their talents, whatever they may be. Visual arts, photography, writing, and poetry are only a start. Are you on a sports team? Do you love to hike? Maybe your talent is a knowledge of facts about a specific topic. Create a display and we’ll include it. All projects will be displayed throughout the school for families, friends, and peers to enjoy.

Please fill out the Gallery Registration Form and submit it to Brandi Smith by. All projects must be completed and turned in by April 18th.

Registration forms will be available soon.

PERFORMANCE
The performance category will be for those talents which can be showcased on stage. Acting, dancing, singing, musical instruments, magic, sports demonstration, and the like are all possibilities. Students may participate in one performance, either as individuals or in a group, but not both. Acts must be limited to 3 minutes or less.  No lip-syncs or singing to recorded voices.  All students must audition in order to participate in the performance. Auditions will be held after school on April 9th and 10th.  Sign-ups for auditions will be made available after the registration deadline of March 27th.  Students will be in one of two performances held on May 1st.

Please return completed Performance Registration Forms to the PTO Box in the office. Registration forms must be turned in by March 27th in order for students to be eligible to participate.

Registration forms can be found in the office or here. Click on the links below.
