Box Tops, Tyson Products, Coke Rewards, Labels for Education, Recycling

Parents, our collections program is officially up and running. Our school collects Box Tops, Labels for education, My Coke Rewards and Tyson project A+.   All of these can be given to your child's home room teacher at any time.  Each homeroom teacher has a collection bin in their classroom.  If we aren't doing a contest then simply place all your donations in a baggy with your child's name on the outside and give to your homeroom teacher.  They will periodically be collected and children the turn in donations will get to chose a prize from the treasure chest.  But they have to have their name on the bag or back of the label or box top, etc or we won't know what child to give the prize to.

**There is a current BOX TOP contest going on RIGHT NOW in the kids' classrooms through 10/25 and you will see more info on that this week.  But you can start sending them in now!**

Here is a link to the websites we collect:

Box Tops for education:   http://www.boxtops4education.com

My Coke Rewards points can be entered online and donated to the school or the caps can be donated in the class collection bins.

Labels for education: http://www.labelsforeducation.com

We also have two recycling programs.  We have a bin in our parking lot, north east corner, for recycling paper products.  We have a small bin in our front corridors for recycling ink cartridges (both ink jet and laser) and small electronics.

Volunteer Software is NOW ready!

The VOLUNTEER software to check-in /out is now up & running at the school!  Its SO easy to use!  If you want to record your hours at home, you can use this link:

The first time you login, either at the school or at home, you will need to add your information - name, email, phone #.  This software is also great because you can sign up for committees, request to volunteer, view requests from the PTO, and get updates on your volunteer hours so you can get to your 30 hours/year per family.

When you login at home for the first time, you will need to request a password using the email address you already provided when initially adding your information.  Then your password will be emailed to you.  Again, you can add your name/info starting with the home access link - its the "click here" link under the "Not yet in the system" heading.

Thanks everyone!  Remember that we are new to this software as well so there may be some kinks initially, but we will work through them together!  Go Flyers!
